Back to work
5 days went really fast. But the good news is, just over 2 months until the real vacation.
As expected there was a tonne of catching up to do and people haven't changed. In my line of work I make thousands of new "friends" every month. Out of those 1000's, 10% are friendly, courteous, nice even the other 90% treat us as gum on the bottom of a shoe.
Where has society gone that politeness is now an option for most of us. Maybe I'm more sensitive to it because of my job but it makes you stop and think.
I see people on a daily basis who walk past mothers struggling with strollers and bags and doors and rarely will I see someone stop talking on their cell phone long enough to help.
I challenge myself to be different and help when I can. I think we all should.
Just a quick post today might be more later.
