30 Days of Gratitude: Post 11 and 12
Mood: Searching for a meaning.
Listening To: Dido - Here With Me
Word of the Day: Suckage
What a horribly miserable weekend. I'm glad it's over. We lost our dogs last night. One of them is back, but one is still missing, and it's just gut wrenching. However, I need to try and pull some silver linings out. I missed my Gratitude post last night, and while it was a rough weekend, a couple positives came out of it at least.
1. The people that found and returned Badu.
2. The guy in the Walmart Auto Centre this morning who gave me exemplery service. (Yup, at Walmart) I broke my jack putting my tire back on, and he went out of his way to help.
3. Sean for his awesome support today.
4. My fam - Layne and Bear and the kidlets who are my strength, my pillars, and my purpose. Without them, there'd be no way I could make it through shitty times in life like the last long while has been.
5. My friends - I don't have many, but the ones I have are just amazing.
6. A warm bed, a roof over my head, a soft pillow to finally get some sleep on.
